Gor Hovsepyan (6 years old) from Berdzor, Artsakh along with his family were displaced from the aftermath of the 2020 War in Artsakh. Sose (the artist) volunteered in Armenia as an art teacher where she met Gor. Towards the end of her volunteering phase she had the kids paint onto a “coloring page” she had produced of ‘Tatik & Papik’, after finishing the painting Gor decided gift it to Sose. Prior to this happening … she knew that she wanted to use one of the kids’ paintings and have it printed onto a sweater for herself as a keepsake; this idea was made all the MORE special because it came from GOR himself, who was very special to her. As interest grew in her sweater idea through a combined effort, Sose was able to fundraise and sell over 120 of these “painting sweaters” and all the proceeds were donated to Gor’s family. By purchasing this design, you are also continuing in her mission to consistently donate funds to this very special human and his beautiful family who were put in an unimaginable position.
